How about we take a gander at some of my very favorite products?
Skincare
PAI Phaze Rebalance Clarifying Cleanser - This has been my go-to summer facial cleanser. It foams! It clarifies! It removes my eye makeup without feeling like I’ve poured acid into my eyeballs! I use it morning and night and I adore it.
Tower 28 SOS Spray - Sunburn anyone? If you don’t already use this spray for all sensitive skin maladies, you simply must have it on hand for sunburns. Soothes immediately.
African Botanics Cell Resurrection Serum - Still my favorite retinol. (Since 2019!) I’m a broken record in regard to this one.
True Botanicals Chebula Serum - What is this sorcery? It’s the best daily serum for anti-aging and I affectionately call it the “Filter Serum.” It is absolutely transformative, period. Read the reviews.
True Botanicals SuperSEA Firming & Lifting Treatment - This one is relatively new to me and it really does make my skin feel firmer, which is my #1 complaint as I approach 50 next year.
Kosas DreamBeam SPF 40 - I live for this 100% mineral sunscreen. It doesn’t leave a white cast on the skin because it has a slight tint to it - not enough to be visible on the face, but to make it blend seamlessly. It also acts as a great primer under makeup.
RMS Beauty SuperNatural Radiance Serum SPF 30 - Another 100% mineral sunscreen, but this one does have a tint that helps to even out the complexion and blur any imperfections. When I wear this, it looks like a have a soft focus filter on my face. I wear the Light Aura shade, although I also love it mixed with the Medium Aura shade for a sun-kissed glow.
Hair/Body
AREY Live-In Mist - I received all of the AREY products via PR earlier this year and got alllllll high and mighty about it. “Don’t they know that I love my hints of grey hair? How DARE they assume I want to slow down my silver hair roll!"
Ahem. Well, regardless of the brand’s claims (slows down and re-pigments grey hair, which is actually very cool), I love this leave-in conditioner. If you have fine hair that is easily weighed down by leave-in conditioners, this is YOUR product. It’s virtually weightless and totally takes care of my frizz. All the grey hair stuff is a bonus.
AREY To The Root Serum - This serum really has helped to volumize my thick but fine hair and once again, is weightless. I’m obviously not using it for the grey hair claims, but I’m curious to see what happens over the next few months. I mean, would it be so bad if it did indeed slow down future grey growth? It has no scent or oil in the formulation so you can use it on wet or dry hair.
Innersense Whipped Cream Texturizer - My favorite hair pudding that smells like a dream. I use just a bit of this on my dry hair to create texture and separation and control frizz.
Ellis Brooklyn Fragrances - Amber is my most-worn fragrance. If you like cozy, skin-like scents that aren’t overpowering, you will love Amber. I also like Iso Gamma, which is like a clean version of Escentric Molecule 01.
Doctor Rogers Restore Lip Balm - I have 12+ of these lip balms in my house, car, and bags.
Maya Chia Power Fol Hair Treatment - My hair has been shedding more than usual over the past year or so (don’t worry, I still have a shit ton), and this has really helped to slow shedding and encourage new growth.
Makeup
Rituel de Fille 3 Drop Foundation - I haven’t had a chance to film a Reel on this foundation, but it is so lovely on the skin. (Be sure to utilize Credo’s live chat for shade-matching advice!) I wear the shade 125 and it gives me a light/medium coverage that is super skin-like and natural. Usually, I just conceal around my nose and undereye area, but on the days I need coverage everywhere, this is what I turn to.
LYS Triple Fix Brightening Concealer - This concealer should win ALL of the awards and it’s only 19 bucks. I realize the word “obsessed” is so disturbingly overused BUT I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS CONCEALER. I wear LN6.
Westman Baby Cheeks Blush Stick - I am a bonafide blush aficionado with hundreds of blushes at the studio and I can confidently say that this cream blush stick in Petal is my #1.
Westman Atelier Beauty Butter Bronzer - Love the shade Coup de Soleil - it looks so natural on light/medium skin and even though it’s a powder, it does seem buttery and smooth. Way to go, Gucci Westman. She knows what she’s doing.
Tower 28 MakeWaves Mascara - This has been my favorite mascara since its launch. However, it suddenly started smudging a teensy bit on me in the past month. I’ve decided it’s the psychotically hot and humid weather because they haven’t changed the formula. I will not give up on this mascara, do you hear me?
Roen Beauty Lip Gloss - Oh! These do not get enough love. They are so sexy. (Can we call lip glosses sexy?) The colors are just so warm and nude and cushiony with the slightest hint of mint. (Slight! Barely there.)
RMS Liplights Cream Lip Gloss - Compliments galore when I wear the shade Crush, although I can’t get enough of Bisou and Rumor as well.
Gen See Liquid Eye Shadows - Everyone should have the shade First Light in their collection. It’s sublime in the way it catches the light on the eyelid.
Kosas Weightless Lip Color in Daydream - I’m just gonna say it. I think Kosas made a horrible move by discontinuing their original lipstick shades. There were so many gorgeous colors in that collection and most of the new iterations just don’t do it for me. EXCEPT for Daydream. If you are familiar with the original shades, Daydream is the love child of Stardust and Rosewater. It’s the perfect everyday pink and it’s not as deep/saturated as the photos depict it. You won’t regret it.
Happy shopping! Let me know what other products you love from Credo and/or have your eye on!
Completely agree about the Kosas lipstick debacle. It’s quite strange and I’m heartbroken! I have the full range of the OG line and can’t bring myself to try the new shades…but you’re tempting me with the description of Daydream.
Thank you for this!!!! Just when I looking at almost empties, you came along!!!!
