Odds and Ends 5.8.26
Chicken discourse, tradwife collapse, giant hats, armpit-foldover logistics, makeup brush evangelism, Noah Kahan slander, and shorts I may regret.

I couldn’t read this article fast enough. What can I say? We eat a lot of chicken over here.
Spring skirt perfection. No notes.
Helluva deal on a great lip gloss.
This post on liberals’ euro dreams is a great read.
You know I’m not a shorts person, but I do have my eyes on this pair and these too. Maybe I’m turning over a new leaf, maybe I’ve lost any sense of good judgment.
I could play with this online tool all day long.
Eby sent me some bras a few months ago and it wasn’t a yes for me, however this particular one gets my stamp of approval.
Easy, breezy, ruched, and dreamy!
The head-turning hats of the Kentucky Derby.
Would you spend $4,350 on a shirt? The answer is a resounding hell no over here.
This is a great little Mother’s Day curation. I have the French blue shirt and it’s wonderful. (And not even close to $4,350!)
This is an incredibly flattering dress and the wide set straps save me from the dreaded armpit fat foldover. (Am I the only one forever burdened with AFF?)
Unpopular opinion: I very much dislike Noah Kahan’s music. Sorry not sorry.
Incredibly long hair. So much of it.
I personally think increased visibility on social media, even if it’s informal, is a net positive for the neurodivergent community.
Have you read Strangers? People have a lot to say.
Omg, the best makeup brush set of all time (how many times have I shared this set?!) is 30% off!
Happy Friday! Happy Mother’s Day weekend to those celebrating - I had absolutely no issue buying myself a new Loewe bag and Prada sandals as a gratuitous pat on the back. I mean, have you seen the length of an epidural needle? We deserve ALL the things, mamas.

That Eby bra changed my life. I have perhaps seven of them.
I had never heard Noah Kahan before this latest release. I apparently live under a rock, and that’s just fine with me. As with a great number of things, it’s not for me. I get to like what I like, as do his fans.
But I am bemused that unlike lots of other creators that I hadn’t even heard of him at all!
Makes me feel very old.
